About Rick
Rick's love of photography started in High School as a yearbook photographer.
Came to Arizona to study Architecture at ASU. Actually finished in Advertising
Design, earning a BFA degree
Rick photographed his first wedding in 1974. Attended the Professional
Photographers of America School in Winona, Indiana, to learn portrait
photography. His first position as a professional photographer was at the old
Dillards Department stores.
Here he learned how to photograph children from the best, Mrs. Eve Recker, Head
Photographer at the Metrocenter Store.
Rick and his family moved to Scottsdale in 1980, starting his own photography
business from his home. He went full time in 1983, and in May 1985 he opened the
business at our present location.
